Soundcloud Rebrand

This in-class assignment was to take a brand that was less succesful and reposition it in it's current market. Soundcloud is a user-submitted music streaming platform that has a dedicated fan base but has struggled to maintain it's footing as big dogs Spotify and Apple Music have entered the market. My Soundcloud branding positions itself as a social media platform for artists. Where creators can create communities, share projects and get feedback from other up and comers. Established artists can release demos, host live concerts and answer questions submitted by newcomers.

the homepage would change significantly organizing your content into a discovery tab, a tab with open projects, your feed, and notable events happening in your scene this week. Creators would be able to upload and host raw files so that they could collaborate with artists worldwide in the blink of an eye.

the tagline for my rebrand is "Seize your moment" stylized to emphasize that as a part of a community Your moment is also OUR MOMENT.
